Yesterday it was announced that Michael Jackson‘s death was ruled a homicide. If you’re like me the first thing that popped into your head was, “Who’d want to kill Mike?” Fingers have been pointed in the direction of his “personal doctor” Conrad Murray. Forensics report that the combination of the anesthetic propofol along with with at least two sedatives killed the legendary singer. More details below.

According to Yahoo, Dr. Murray acknowledged that he prescribed the drugs to Jackson for insomnia hours before his death. This recent ruling could be used as a means for the prosecution to bring up criminal charges against the doctor. According to Murray’s lawyer, he administered nothing that should have killed Jackson.

In an unsealed affidavit Murray told detectives that two days before Jackson’s death, he had lowered the propofol dose to 25 milligrams and added the sedatives lorazepam and midazolam, a combination that succeeded in helping the pop star sleep. The next day, Murray said, he cut off the propofol and Jackson fell asleep with just the two sedatives.

But on June 25, Murray said, he tried unsuccessfully to make Jackson sleep with a series of drugs that included a 10-milligram tablet of Valium and repeated injections of two milligrams of lorazepam and two milligrams of midazolam. When the combination didn’t work, he said he gave in to Jackson’s “repeated demands/requests” for propofol, which the singer called his “milk.”

Nothing about this piece of information is healthy. This was a human being, who was drugged like a 3000 pound animal that needed to be tranquilized. In the doctor’s defense his lawyer released a statement questioning the validity of the affidavit calling it a “police theory.” All I know is that once again a medical professional prescribed an over abundant amount of drugs to a celebrity client, even though it was a dangerous mix. We’ve seen it happen too many times before. These aren’t street pushers, these are people certified by the state. What’s really going on?

What do you think about the latest ruling in Michael Jackson’s death?

I had a close friend who died of a lethal amount of drugs from a doctor and i would say regardless of how the doctor felt about demands from mj he should have known better than to give such awful and powerful drugs to make him sleep!.
I suffer from insomnia and know how hard it can be but i do not take anything the doctor has prescribed for me as it can lead to you needing that fix to help you sleep all the time.

I strongly believe that it was neglect and sheer stupidity on the doctors part that has killed a great star who behind the face was only human and was crying out for help!
There were means and ways other than drugs so i guess the doctor now has to answer for his actions.
I hope this all gets cleared up soon so m.j's family can get on with there lives and his kids have some normality.
It is truly sad that he is gone but i guess it is time for the truth to come out.
God Bless his kids and family
    xxxxxxxxxx

I feel that whatever Michael Jackson cause of death is justice should be done if the doctor gave him too much medicine the doctor knows the limits or does he……..but overall it is a very sad loss for all his family, fans, and love ones just let him rest in peace for his kids sake Michael would never have wanted his kids to suffer for all the media and drama that is going on now that he is gone no matter what they are hurting enough
