By Krystal Clark
YouTube has found another way to interact with the masses via their website. They have teamed up with the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival for this year’s event. An official press release has been sent out to spread the word about the new collaboration, with all the details inside. Read below to find out what these two entities have in store for its fans.
Today it was announced that YouTube will stream live the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival to viewers in the US. The live webcast will be featured on youtube.com/outsidelands beginning Friday, August 28th - Sunday, August 30th. The festival coverage will include performances from Dave Matthews Band, Jason Mraz, Thievery Corporation, The Dead Weather, Silversun Pickups, Raphael Saadiq, Cage the Elephant, Atmosphere, among others.
The Outside Lands Festival will take place over three days at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. This is a historical event that will once again be set at a historical location. With the live webcast there is no reason for anyone to miss the performances that will be offered at this year’s festival. The line up is filled with talented artists who I’d love to see in person, but this is a close second. If you’ve never attended the event before, this could be a good warm up for those who want to see what it’s all about.
Will you be attending the Outside Lands Festival? Will you watch the live stream of this year’s event?

Live events offer great opportunities to generate revenue for content producers and aggregators through advertising, sponsorships, and even paid subscriptions. And Outside Lands isn’t the only festival to stream live online in the coming weeks. This Labor Day weekend, over 20 hours of the three-day LifeLight Music Festival, which was attended by over 300,000 people last year, will be streamed live using the Endavo Media Internet TV Platform.
