Thom Yorke To Release Two New Songs In September
By Jeffrey Hyatt
It seems like BeatCrave has wrapped up a lot of weeks of late with Radiohead/Thom Yorke news. And here we are with a report that Yorke will debut two previously unreleased tracks, “Apart By Horses” and “The Hollow Earth”, as a surprise, super-limited edition 12-inch vinyl on September 22nd, according to Exclaim.ca.
Check below to watch Yorke perform a song called “Apart By Horses,” which may or may not be the same unreleased song coming to vinyl next month.
The release, by ATO’s TBD Records, is limited to only 4,000 copies in North America, 4,000 in Europe, and 300 in Canada.
Aside from supposedly really cool packaging and artwork coming with the 12-inch vinyl, details of the release remain hard to come by; most likely just how Yorke wants it.
Of course none of this has actually been confirmed.
Many will wonder if these ‘secret’ songs have anything to do with Yorke’s possible connection to New Moon. The official New Moon soundtrack is on schedule for release October 20, so that’s not a bad guess.
Or maybe the songs are part of a Yorke solo project.
Oh, the intrigue!
Do you think the new songs are going to be part of the New Moon soundtrack?
