Sublime Returns With New Singer
By Seraphina L.
The return of the 90s bands will be a never ending cycle and we’ve got one more band to join the likes of Sugar Ray and No Doubt: Sublime is back!
After their former lead singer, Bradley Nowell, died of an overdose 13 years ago, the remaining members decided to have the show go on with a new singer. Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson have recruited Rome, a Northern Californian to hit the road with them as their new vocalist. There has been word that Rome sounds great live and fits right into Sublime’s groove from way back when even though he is just 20 years old.
Sublime is known for hits such as “What I Got” and “Santeria,” but will they be able to transfer those 90s hits into the new millenium? One can’t help but wonder how they’ll stay afloat in the massive sea of new artists and fellow bands from the past returning for competition as well.
Then again, does anyone really depend on this group’s comeback? How much do you care? Let us know by voting below!
