Glasvegas Singer Found In New York After Disappearance Glasvegas Singer Found In New York After Disappearance

Glasvegas singer, James Allan, was still missing before the winner of the Mercury Music Prize was announced on Tuesday night. However, after much concern from his band mates and colleagues, Allan is reported to be safe in New York.

People who were worried about his five-day appearance included his cousin and Glasvegas guitarist, Rab Allan, who stated that no one had seen him since their show in Italy. Bassist, Paul Donoghue, also expressed his uneasiness over Allan’s disappearance to the Daily Record: “I hope James will get in touch soon because now we are flying to America. I’m hoping that if we don’t see him at the airport, we will see him in Boston.”

However, Glasvegas manager, Dean Cunning, put everyone’s frantic thoughts to rest when he announced that the singer was actually in New York:

“James is not missing, he’s in New York. He got in touch with me yesterday at about 1.45pm to tell me he was OK because he knew people were worried, but to be honest I’ve been just as much in the dark about this as anybody — the last time I saw James was at the gig in Cardiff . I don’t even know exactly when he went missing.”

All we know is that we’re glad he’s safe and well and although they didn’t win the Mercury Music Prize, we’re sure that didn’t have anything to do with his disappearance either.

Glasvegas will be supporting Kings of Leon in a US tour this month.
