Patrick Swayze: Remembering His Greatest Dance Moments
By Jeffrey Hyatt
Very sad news today about the passing of Patrick Swayze. The star of movie hits like Dirty Dancing, Red Dawn, Point Break and The Outsiders leaves behind a truckload of great movie moments and the legacy as one helluva dancer.
Awesome as Dalton in Road House, Jed Eckert in Red Dawn and Bodhi in Point Break, Swayze will be best remembered for Dirty Dancing, made in 1987. So to honor Swayze and his wonderful talent as a dancer, we have collected some of his finer moments dancing on film, plus his underrated love song “She’s Like the Wind,” and of course… the classic, Saturday Night Live Chippendale’s sketch with Chris Farley.
Enjoy and remember.
Do you have a favorite Patrick Swayze dance memory?
