ZAZA: BeatCrave Fav

Okay, so we agree with ZAZA when they say the term, “shoegaze,” has been beaten to a pulp as people have tried to describe their sound. So how about we describe the Brooklyn-based band as astral-projecting?

ZAZA meld intrigue, beauty and eeriness all into one of their songs. So, we’re pretty happy to know they’ve successfully released their Cameo EP a while back because it has SIX of these out-of-body masterpieces for us to enjoy. Not only do they stand out in their “genre,” but they have also taken it a step up as they create an exquisite ambiance during their live performances. It seems that they are visually artistic as much as they are musically talented.  With moving artwork that matches their intoxicating sound, ZAZA are not only musicians but creators in every sense of the word.
