So Many Wizards: BeatCrave Fav

So Many Wizards is a solo project brought to listeners out of the Long Beach, California area, courtesy of  Nima Kazerouni. The music in itself is very involved and moves along a wide range of – emotion? tempo? orchestrations? – something intriguing enough to wonder what’s in the figurative water. We’re tasting an essence of Brit rock, folk, and pop rock with an eclectic edge.

Los Angeles audiences have been exposed to Kazerouni’s homegrown, relatable style for some time. Whether live on in studio, his vocals can switch from subdued to powerful and back so quickly, quite like the keys and guitar he uses in accompaniment. His real talent, however, is working a sound different enough to keep the listener involved.

At times it’s almost like we’re listening to some instrument with fourteen letters in its name, or better yet, one that hasn’t yet been invented. Layers, harmonies, and do our ears real good and keep our minds inspired towards such creative designs – and that’s why So Many Wizards is our pick for the day.
