Saint Motel: BeatCrave Fav
This Los Angeles-based band is anything but typical alternative rock. As proof, when asked what genre they fit on their Facebook page, they have the decency to agree: “You tell us.” Taking comparisons to Franz Ferdinand and The Bravery at face value (sound value?), listeners are gifted a versatile band who cares to not fit into one category – a preferred core characteristic worthy of growing attention.
Saint Motel is charming, fun, and sure to reach the thought processes of every hipster girl and boy. At the same time, they’re able to interject such lyrics as “Your ship’s sinking /Sharks start sensing blood” and “The world might end tonight / I won’t be by your side” alongside super-catchy and uber mellow beats. Their debut album, ForPlay, was recently released on September 8, and with a residency coming to a close at Los Angeles venue Spaceland, they will take on the CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival in New York towards the end of October.

They are always so damn good! I worked with them and they're not only brilliant singers live, but they're friendly and like to hang out with their fans. Great music! GO SAINT MOTEL!
