U2 360 Degree Tour – New York Show Report!

U2’s 360 Degree tour marched on into fall with a historic one of a kind performance at Giant Stadium. Over 82,000 tickets were sold for this special occasion making it the biggest concert in the venue’s history. Keeping in tune with the name of the tour, the stage could be seen from all sides of the stadium which gave the band an upper hand when it came to selling more tickets than other shows.

Highlights from the show included a performance of Bruce Springsteen’s “She’s the One” in honor of Springsteen, whose 60^th birthday was celebrated on Wednesday. Bono also sang a portion of Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough” during “Beautiful Day” for friend Quincy Jones (who produced the song).
