We’re going through a serious Michael Jackson rebirth, and it’s far from being over. Michael Jackson’s This Is It is due out October 28th and even though that’s over a month away, fans are already lining up to ensure they have a ticket. According to the Associated Press, the ticket line for the first public screening of the documentary opened late Thursday afternoon in the courtyard outside the Nokia Theater at the LA Live complex in downtown Los Angeles.

A day before the limited release date for the film, 3,000 movie tickets will be available for an early showing at L.A. Live’s new Regal Cinemas Stadium 14, making this the movie theater’s grand opening. Advanced ticket sales start Sunday morning, but it is likely that they’ll be sold out within the hour.

Michael Jackson’s This Is It will feature a behind-the-scenes look at Jackson rehearsing for the 50 shows he had lined up in London before he died on June 25th. The documentary is directed by High School Musical’s Kenny Ortega, who had been working with Jackson on the This Is It concert.

It is unlikely that the M.J. trend will disappear after the 2-week documentary-run comes to an end. If anything it will surely give fans the satisfaction of knowing that their idol was still the king.

I will definitely be going to see it. Michael was always so positive with his music. He always encouraged everyone to make the world better. It seems that with him being gone, people are more hateful than ever. I will miss him a great deal!

Jackie, I agree with you. Since MJ is gone people are more hateful that ever. He truly was the greatest and there will never be another MJ. What a gentle person he was. He gave to so many and never bragged about his good deeds. Truly a shining light went out in our world when he left us. I miss you MJ and love you more than you will ever know! Believe me, no matter what negativity the media/journalists try to spin on you, your true fans will never believe them and we will always defend you, and stand up for you. You will always be the King of Pop!

Oh gosh, I went on and on about MJ, but forgot to answer the question: YES, OF COURSE, MOST DEFINITELY, HOW COULD I NOT, BEING THAT I LOVE HIM SO! I WILL BE THERE TO SEE HIS MOVIE HERE IN ATLANTA!

    I will be there.
    Long Live The king.
And note to Rabbi Schmuley: usinh the eve of the film's release to bring out your authorized kiss and tell book is nothing short of intellectual theft. Michael had put a hold on doing this after you pulled away from him in 2003. You are a disgrace to a noble religion Schmuley.
