If Bob Dylan is all right with looking like a creeper in the shadows of a Victoria’s Secret commercial, then we can assume he’s up for any kind of mind-blowing industry deal.

The renowned singer-songwriter will be releasing a Christmas album titled Christmas In The Heart on October 13 via Columbia Records. We commend the musician because it’s always exciting to get new material from him but mostly because all the proceeds from this upcoming album will be going toward charities that feed the needy.

However, if your bank is Citibank, you might want to give him a little more praise. We never imagined the 60s icon would be teaming up with a bank, but he has – and the partnership greatly benefits you, the bankers. According to Reuters, the 13 million customers enrolled in the bank’s rewards program will be able to download the album during the week before its official release date.

So if you’re an Internet guru like most are in this generation, it’ll be a simple click here and there and you’ll have the new Dylan album a week before anyone who has to wait and buy it in stores. If you’re in your late 60s like Dylan, don’t expect to go to an actual Citibank location and receive a copy from the teller. It’s only available online.

Whether the company’s executive vice president, Nancy Gordan, is right or not when she says it will “have a high appeal” to customers, it’s a win-win situation. Bankers get some swag, Dylan’s sales records have a chance to go up, and the needy gets fed.
