Paul McCartney to Release New Live CD/DVD

Paul McCartney’s memorable three night stint at New York Citi Field this past summer is set to be immortalized on record. On November 17th, Hear Music/Concord Music Group will release Good Evening New York City which is set to be a three disc (2 CDs + 1 DVD) set featuring a 30 song, three hour set worth of material.
While a tracklist is still yet to be released, according to an issued press release the album will consist of Beatles classics like Drive my Car, Back in the USSR., Hey Jude and Helter Skelter. The tracklist will also include Wings songs, solo selections, and a tribute to John Lennon in the form of a medley of A Day in the Life and Give Peace a Chance.
The DVD will include feature concert footage directed by Paul Becher, the result of using 15 cameras and digital footage from 75 Flipcams handed out to fans over the course of the three nights. The audio mix will be available in both Stereo and 5.1 and was handled by longtime McCartney engineer Paul Hicks, whose credits include the recent Beatles remasters and the Beatles Anthology.
A 4 disc (2 CD + 2 DVD) deluxe version will also be available and will include McCartney’s July 15th performance on The Late Show with David Letterman.
