This past Sunday (October 4th), some of the most talented people in the music and movie industry came out to support the New York based benefit, (Red) Nights AIDS. It was a charity gig that brought out Bono, Courtney Love, Lady Gaga, Lou Reed, and even Scarlett Johansson. The event was filled with collaborative performances from both new and established artists in the industry.

Take a look at the finale performance featuring the entire roster of stars…

This video was taken at the finale of the (Red) Nights benefit that took place at Carnegie Hall. The participants all came together to perform a rendition of David Bowie‘s “Jean Genie.”

The group also sang The Velvet Underground‘s “Sweet Jane,” but we didn’t catch that one of tape. I get that this is a charity event and all, but am I the only one who noticed Courtney Love fighting for the mic with her partner? Apparently there were too many personalities involved here. This is for a charity Courtney, come on.

What do you think of the turn out for the (Red) Nights benefit?
