Saddle Creek is known for signing strong female voices like Art in Manila, Orenda Fink, and Jenny Lewis (as a part of Rilo Kiley), so it wasn’t much of a surprise when they added Land of Talk to their roster. Elizabeth Powell’s strong yet humble vocals carry the band’s sound of intimate energy and the trio (newly formed again after hiatus) may just become our new favorite Canadian band.
However, in this new video for “Troubled,” the song itself is very bare with only a hint of instrumentals. The lush forest and pondering looks perfectly accompany the new track off of their upcoming EP, Fun and Laughter. Take a look at the scenery below.
