Clare and the Reasons: BeatCrave Fav
Clare and the Reasons marched into the music scene in the epic year of “Neon Bible,” “Armchair Apocrypha,” “Asleep at Heaven’s Gate” and “Cease to Begin” yet still managed to get their indie-pop sound recognized by critics and hipsters alike.
Their newest single, “You Hurt Me So” off their upcoming sophomore album, Arrow (released October 20, 2009) proves that the “sophomore curse” is for the talentless: This album is shaping up to be a truly evolved version of 2007’s The Movie. Their ability to progress from greatness into the realm of classically fantastic is, without doubt, the product of hard work and dedicated focus on their craft.
