Perez Hilton Gets Slammed For Tour Failure

Perez Hilton, the somewhat A-list celebrity who makes fun of other real A-list celebrities is having major troubles with this tour he launched. Snatching up artists such as Little Boots and Ladyhawke, the tour was supposed to be phenomenal and show that Hilton could really be part of the music industry.

Obviously, he thought wrong because the tour has barely been able to sell tickets, leading his team to severely slash the prices down to almost nothing. This little team in his head didn’t work and there is another team that flaunts an I-told-you-so sign at him with no regrets.

The Guardian teamed up with Idolator blogger, Maura Johnston, only to highlight this shortcoming by stating:

“He trumpets things like click-throughs to artists he mentions on his site, but the moment the users have to make any commitment or lay out any money, any ‘influence’ he has evaporates.”

Also, according to Johnston, she has now been blocked by Hilton on Twitter when she wasn’t following him in the first place. It looks like Perez Hilton finally realizes it hurts when people poke fun at others.
