The following is an example of topical humor. Read at your own risk:

Unless your flying around in a balloon or hanging out in the attic you’re probably wondering what concerts are going on sale. Well, wonder no longer, because below is a list of concerts you can spend your money on. Now that’s something to have four hours of live coverage on!

Check it out…

Tegan and Sara

Canadian indie rock sister act Tegan and Sara have announced an early 2010 tour in support of their upcoming Sainthood release. The extensive two month US tour begins Feb. 12th in Northampton, MA and runs through April 6th in Salt Lake City, UT. Pre-sale tickets go on sale this weekend and you can find all dates here. If you are in Europe or in Canada the band is touring both locales in the next few months.

Cursive

Midwestern indie rock act Cursive has announced a three week tour later this fall. Tim Kasher and co. will play Midwest, East Coast and Southern states beginning Nov. 24th in Lawrence, KS and ending Dec. 13th in Omaha, NE. Find all dates and purchase Cursive’s new album Mama, I’m Swollen here.

Owl City

Current synth-pop buzz band Owl City have announced a new winter tour in support of their Ocean Eyes record (and divisive hit single “Fireflies”). Joining Owl City on their flight (ha… get it!) will be Canadian synthers Lights. The tour begins Jan. 21st in Kansas City, MO and ends Feb. 10th in Little Rock, AR. Find your local dates here.

Less Than Jake

Another season, another Less Than Jake tour. The often touring veteran ska band has announced a fall tour with acts like The Casualties, Fishbone, The Dangerous Summer, The Swellers and Cage opening various dates. The month long tour is set to take off Nov. 13th in Atlanta, GA and runs through Dec. 13th in Tampa, FL. Find all dates here.

Papa Roach/ Jet

After spending the summer opening for Nickleback (everyone should be so lucky), Papa Roach has announced a rather confusing fall tour with Jet, Morningwood and Kill Hannah. Awesome, now we are picking bands out of a hat for package tours. The foursome start their tour later this month on Oct. 25th in Amarillo, TX and runs through Nov. 23rd in Los Angeles. Tickets are either already on sale or go on sale this weekend, so check your local listings. All dates are here (P.S. more dates should be announced soon.
