Pavement Announce UK Date and ATP Supporting Bands

The Pavement reunion is not going to stop until all the big cities have been hit!
The indie rock legends have just announced another tour date and according to our suspicion, we were right. This one goes toward the Brits. Pavement will be returning to Brixton Academy in London, UK on May 11th, 2010; this will mark their first performance at the location since their final performance over 10 years ago. General tickets go on sale at 9:00 AM (BST) this Friday, October 23rd.
After announcing Summerstage in NYC, All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival, Australia and New Zealand dates, this makes it a total of 15 Pavement reunion dates now! Speaking of ATP Festival, as one of 2010′s curators, the band has also announced some of their supporting bands. See who they chose after the jump!
As May 14th – 16th becomes “Pavement Weekend” in Minehead, UK, the diverse selection of bands that will be joining them include:
- Krautrock band, Faust
- Post-punkers, The Fall
- Portland duo, Quasi
- Psych experimentalists, Endless Boogie
- Spoken-word rockers, Enablers
Of course, the ATP tickets are already sold out but if you’ve already got them – it should be one rad show.
