Anchor and Braille: BeatCrave Fav

It seems as if Stephen Christian can do no wrong. As it is, he makes great music with the alternative rock band Anberlin. He’s released a book. He has his own record label. And to top it all off, his side project, Anchor & Braille, exemplifies his ability to write music that traverses multiple genres. The softer side of Christian can be seen laced into the piano, keyboards, and acoustic guitar of Anchor & Braille.
A&B’s latest album, Felt, was mastered and released with the help of Copeland’s vocalist Aaron Marsh. Marsh was actually a part of A&B until he left in order to concentrate more on Copeland. Felt is filled with songs about regret and heartache, songs that initially came about when Christian realized he couldn’t use the songs he had for Anberlin — to him, they had a different feel.
