Picture 110 Guns N Roses Chinese Democracy Tour Finally Announced

Gun n’ RosesChinese Democracy album was one of the longest awaited albums that I’d encountered in my life time. For a while, it was running neck and neck with Dr. Dre‘s continuously pending, Detox (which still doesn’t have a release date). After Democracy‘s release almost a year ago, the band has finally decided to go on tour with it and guess what? The U.S. isn’t a part of it. Guns n’ Roses will hit the northern territories to visit our friends in Canada instead.

Take a look at the schedule…

1/13 – Winnipeg, MB @ MTS Centre
1/16 – Calgary, AB @ Pengrowth Saddledome
1/17 – Edmonton, AB @ Rexall Place
1/19 – Saskatoon, SK @ Credit Union Centre
1/20 – Regina, SK @ Brandt Centre
1/24 – Hamilton, ON @ Copps Coliseum
1/25 – London, ON @ John Labatt Centre
1/27 – Montreal, PQ @ Bell Centre
1/28 – Toronto, ON @ Air Canada Centre
1/31 – Ottawa, ON @ Scotiabank Place
2/1 – Quebec City, PQ @ Colisee Pepsi
2/3 – Moncton, NB @ Moncton Coliseum
2/4 – Halifax, NS @ Metro Centre

Over at Rolling Stone, they described this as the “Chinese Democracy World Tour,” so we can only assume that there will be more dates to come. The album sales weren’t that great when the disc was finally released, and it probably had something to do with the lack of promotion by the band, in terms of performances and interviews. For the most part there’s been a revolving door of musicians who have come and gone, with Rose being the only original member. I wonder who will appear on stage this time around?

What do you think of Guns n’ Roses going on tour again?

It is nice to see GNR back. It was too long time since "Use Your Illusion". This album is not that good, but still shows that Axel is back on the track.
