New Foo Fighters Song: Word Forward

As we previously told you, Foo Fighters is releasing a Greatest Hits album. We were initially excited because not only were the enough of a legit band to still like after topping the mainstream charts, but this album has been long overdue.

What excited long time fans the most was the fact that the band announced two new songs would come along with the album. We’ve let your hear “Wheels” and it’s not bad. It echoes Tom Petty just a tad, but it’s still a good song.

However, their second song, “Word Forward” has just been revealed and with lyrics such as “Word for word for word,” it doesn’t seem to match up with the rest of the album. We know Grohl is a better lyricist then this and Foo Fighters has too much integrity to throw in a low-quality song for commercial release reasons.
