Google Music Promo Offers Free MP3s

The Google Music Search just launched last week and in support of the new music search service, Google is throwing out a few goodies to try and persuade internet and music lovers to flock towards their site.

Since Tuesday night, Google has been offering free MP3 downloads which are their exclusive songs from some of the bigger artists. Lala, a popular streaming site is often seen by Google’s side for users as well as others such as imeem, MySpace, Pandora, and Rhapsody.

Although this may be nice way to entice new users, we’re wondering what is going to make users go straight to Google Music instead of regularly going to the other music service sites.

It is convenient to have all the other services in conjunction with your choice of search engine, but it’ll be interesting to see how much Google will actually gain when this can only add on to the revenue for the previously existing music services.
