Sin Fang Bous: BeatCrave Fav

We at BeatCrave are beginning to think that Iceland has a trick up it’s sleeve: There’s something in the water there turning normal citizens into outrageously, absurdly, inimitably, penetratingly masterful sorcerers of noise.  First the fairy-sprite, Bjork.  Then, the only band who can turn gibberish into songs of understandable truth and beauty: Sigur Ros. And now, from the same strange land, comes a guy whose name is so hard to pronounce he made his moniker a parallel to his music: catchy, bouncy and utterly unique: Sin Fang Bous.

The solo project of Seaber band member, Sindri Már Sigfússon, Sin Fang Bous has created one of the most enjoyable and truly underrated albums of 2009,  “Clangour.”  His sound is controlled chaos interwoven with complex lyrics delivered in the most unpretentious manner.  He may not be a part of your playlists family but we at BeatCrave our adding him to ours and to our BeatCrave Fav Series.  Take a moment and get to know a boy from Iceland, we’re sure you’ll fall in love.
