It’s that time of week again – the oft-occurring presence of the weekend, however catch-me-if-you-can in nature. We’ve selected our picks for the shows we think would best occupy your time. By now you should know the drill, so – ready, set, scroll!
- Karma to Burn | Friday, November 6 | 9:00 pm | $8 | 21+ | Spaceland, Los Angeles, CA – Map | The Morgantown, West Virginia-based alternative rock band combines a elements of psychedelic, acid, and stoner rock that one might as well veer away from heavy machinery after taking in a set or two. Trust us, this is a compliment. This is your chance to catch what looks to be their last North American tour date of the year before they kick off the European leg of their tour later this month. - Saint Motel | Saturday, November 7 | 8:00 pm | $11.50 | The Roxy, West Hollywood, CA – Map | Interviewing and feature opportunities have successfully disguised our unhealthy obsession with Saint Motel so much that it took us this long to realize we had a “problem”. - The Black Heart Procession | Saturday, November 7 | 8:00 pm | $15 | 18+ | Bottom Lounge, Chicago, IL, – Map | A scheduled pit-stop in the windy city during their tour of the US and Europe, guarantees fans of the San Diego, Calif.-based band a live, heaping helping of all that’s for grabs on their most recent album, Six. - Wolfmother | Sunday, November 8 | 8:00 pm | $27.50 – $30.00 | Terminal 5, New York, NY – Map | The track and video for their newest single – entitled “New Moon Rising” – is so fun and classic-rock inspired that we might have to create a new genre for it.
