Concert Tickets with AFI and Flogging Molly

I’ll forgo the Bon Jovi tour dates announced this week (check your local listing if you must see “Dead or Alive” live) and just say it’s a punk-centric week in the on-sale world. While there may not be a lot of tour’s being announced in recent weeks, radio stations have been busy announcing their annual multi-act Christmas festival shows that usually take place during the first few week’s of December. Expect a lot of Muse, AFI, Rise Against, The Silversun Pickups, Anberlin and such to be playing your local theaters and arenas in the name of radio promotion. It truly is the most wonderful corporate time of the year. Anyway, here you go:

• AFI: Veteran punk-rockers AFI have announced more dates for a West Coast winter tour in support of their recent Crash Love debut. Following a slew of Christmas themed radio shows and a tour of Canada, the band will begin their tour in Petaluma, CA on January 15th and play through January 31st with a date in Las Vegas, NV. You can find all dates here and tickets are on sale this weekend.
• Flogging Molly: Just in time for the St. Patrick’s Day season (if that even exists), Guinness-fueled punk rockers Flogging Molly have announced dates to their annual Green 17 tour. The East Coast and Midwest tour (apparently the West Coast doesn’t have the St. Patrick’s Day spirit) begins February 9th in Dallas and hits theaters before culminating with a St. Patty’s Day bash in Tempe, AZ on March 17th.
