i totally agree. and how about carrie underwood? she can sing 1000000 times better than taylor. and guess what? she didnt get any awards. wow, the 2009 CMAs was so pathetic. taylor swift cant sing, her songs are all similar, and all people are buying speak now just because its taylor swift. Speak now is so pop, and not country. Speak now is just the re-making of fearless, with different lyrics. a little fiddle on the guitar wont make a song becomes country, Taylor!

Taylor Swift is a great entertainer…actress..a decent songwriter, but a VOCALIST SHE IS NOT!!! Hope she writes some new songs, I am tired of hearing about her boyfriends. Oh and maybe take a few vocal lessons and try some more challenging vocals. Let's see where she is a year from now. An entertainer and a singer is 2 different things.

im a taylor swift fan like a huge one but i agree she cannot sing. songwriting is the only reason she made it where she is at. she did deserve some of her awards but not entertainer of the year. i believe carrie underwood derves it. carrie is AMAZING. it was a popularity contest when it came to taylor she got to sing twice the kanye ordeal was brought up many times and she won every award she could possibly be nominated for almost. i actually do like taylor swift. I just dont feel like she had the accomplishments that the others had for entertainer of the year. I feel that she deserved most of the awards, just not that one. the others had a great year, better then her in my opinion.

the so called "country music" of now is not country it is a light rock beat, there is no true country music out there anymore. The days of the greats, Cash, Jennings, Williams, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, etc… are gone, Country music now is a retarded (slow) form of rock that is disgraceful to what country music was and should be, all the greats would be turning in their grave. I cannot tolerate "retarded rock" Country music anymore, but I still follow the deep roots of where it came from, I am only 28 and of the new breed of music listening and I dont appreciate "country" of now ever.

Well at least winning a CMA is based on actual accomplishments unlike the Nobel Peace Prize.
