Visqueen: BeatCrave Fav
By Brian McConnell
Every once in a while, it’s nice to take a step away from the indie pool and swim in a different lake of sound. Dive into the Seattle noise that flooded America in the early 90′s with a band that brings a new twist on the grunge-rock genre with a (not so) subtle dash of power-pop: Visqueen.
Founded in 2001, Visqueen is fronted by the fiery aesthetic of Rachel Flotard who adds a distinctly sweet-yet-dangerous layer to college-esque band that’s clearly graduated into a music all their own. We at BeatCrave are excited to add this awesome band to our BeatCrave Fav series. Take a moment and enjoy getting to know Visqueen.
