Grizzly Bear In Bus Accident

For those of you who follow Grizzly Bear‘s Edward Droste on Twitter, you may have gotten worried after seeing a certain tweet. Grizzly Bear was unfortunately involved in a bus accident after a show in Munich Germany on November 14th.

According to Pitchfork, the band also posted a message on their website saying that their “bus and trailer were hit and rendered immovable. The trailer was wrecked and the bus engine split.” Accidents of any kind are scary, but this sounded especially worrisome.

The good news was that everyone was okay. The bad news was that fans who were waiting for them to open up for Wilco in Milan had to go on without them. However, since no was injured they are going on with the show – er, tour.

The rest of their dates (which include St. Vincent throughout November) are still scheduled and they don’t plan on taking a break any time soon. They’ll be making global rounds as they hit Australia and the UK next. Check out the remaining dates below!
