Robert Pattinson Wants To Be A Music Producer

Robert Pattinson is STILL the most hyped up celebrity these days with Twilight and New Moon fans vying for his attention. He’s definitely a looker, but the teen heartthrob is constantly telling people he’d love to have another successful career outside of acting.

If there are any Rpattz fanatics out there, you all know that Pattinson is also passionate about music. Two songs he had co-written with friends appeared on the first Twilight soundtrack and according to Current-Movie Reviews, he recently emphasized the fact that he goes nowhere without his guitar in an interview with Gala de.

He’s expressed his interest in the music industry by initially thinking about writing songs specifically for film. It sounds to us like the Eclipse soundtrack will have a few Pattinson songs on there as well.

Now, he is gaining interest outside of the film industry in regards to music as he would like to become a music producer. Producers work with a variety of artists in all different genres and projects. So if Pattinson were to actually leave his acting career to go behind the soundboard, it would really give him more room for creativity that he speaks of seeking:

“Being a music producer would be perfect job for me. Or I would like to write. In any case it would be something creative.”

Pattinson has played a few shows around LA after wrapping up the first Twilight movie, and now we know why when he shares:

“I’m actually quite frugal but I’ve bought a 1951 vintage electric guitar after filming Twilight in Vancouver. That was the first time in my life that I felt really decadent. Normally, I don’t need any luxury. Look at me – I wear the same clothes nearly every day.”

Being  music producer doesn’t require as many public appearances, so it would probably fit more with his personal hygiene! However, just take a moment to imagine going into your favorite music store, buying a CD and discovering it was produced by Twilight’s Robert Pattinson! That would definitely be something different…
