There’s plenty of folks who believe pop icons Daryl Hall and John Oates should have their very own animated series, but in the meantime, fans can get excited about the duo’s appearance on this Sunday’s (11/22) episode of the The Cleveland Show. Daryl Hall and John Oates will appear as themselves, playing an angel and devil, respectively.

Check below to watch a sneak peak of a scene featuring Daryl and John.

The gist of Sunday’s episode finds Cleveland celebrating his first Thanksgiving with his new family, as well as his own parents, Cookie and Freight Train, and Donna’s Auntie Momma. The holiday festivities gets complicated when Roberta and Federline decide to celebrate on their own and Cleveland discovers a surprising secret about Auntie Momma.

Guest voices Daryl Hall & John Oates appear as an angel and a devil to help Cleveland decide if he should expose Auntie Momma’s secret.

This is Daryl Hall and John Oates’ first appearance on the show, however, word is viewers can anticipate seeing the duo show up in future episodes. Best. News. Ever. If Hall and Oates keep coming back, and maybe playing some music, The Cleveland Show could quickly become my new favorite TV show.

I smell a Hall & Oates spin-off, Mr. Fox Television Executive!

Co-created by Seth MacFarlane, The Cleveland Show features the voice talents of Mike Henry, Sanaa Lathan, Reagan Gomez-Preston, Kevin Michael Richardson and MacFarlane, as well as Arianna Huffington and Jason Sudeikis in recurring roles.

The Cleveland Show airs this Sunday, November 22nd at 8:30pm ET/PT.

Thank God! (Sorry Seth) this show needs *something* because it is down right boring. The funniest joke since the show debuted was the R Kelly toilet joke and that joke was told the first show. Since then, the jokes have been stale and have fallen very flat.

I love Hall and Oates and after swearing I would not watch this show again, I have to watch it to see H&O.
