Does Avatar Songstress Leona Lewis Pull It Off?

As soon as James Cameron revealed the details for his film, Avatar, it wasn’t hard to predict how well it would do in the box office. With a major feature film always comes a powerhouse ballad, and this holiday season has become 1997 all over again.
Avatar is Cameron’a first feature film since Titanic, and he has asked composer James Horner to score the film. Horner was the genius behind powerhouse ballad, “My Heart Will Go On,” which was sung by pop star Celine Dion. For Avatar‘s theme song, “I See You,” X-factor winner and pop songstress, Leona Lewis has been chosen to fill the very huge shoes for the current decade.

As a singer, Leona pull's it off. However, it's a very differnt song in comparison to My Heart Will go on. My heart will go on has a better build up and final climax which keeps the listener involved throughout. Both these girls have Amazing pipes and I think each song stands unique for their time.

Unfortunately, Leona Lewis has the head of a little pony. This makes her a bit nosey. On the other hand, Celine Dion has a human head and seems to have a greater range, greater power and more emotion.
Leona Lewis would probably sing better with a dwarf on her back whipping her. She's about 1% as good as Celine.

Titanic is an epic movie and so was Celine's voice on the song MY HEART WILL GO ON….the movie AVATAR is pretty stupid and the song along with it is stupid …I love Leona I hope she goes into acting bcuz she is good at being fake so why not? THe song I SEE YOU makes me feel sick inside I just threw up chunks after listening to it …

Leona is a gift to the music world. I have seen all of her performances online and purchased her Cds. She is captivating in her 'on stage ballads' and refreshes the souls of her onlookers. I thank God for blessing us with Leona and I literally pray for her quite often.
Yes, Leona 'pulls it off'. In all honesty though, I am more moved by Celine's song for Titanic.

leona carries out another brilliant performance, I dont think you can try and compare titanic to avatar two completely different films, but i am sure leona is proud to be compared to celine, leona is still new in the usa and i think they should give her more credit, the past has gone and she is the the future, she deserves the best, seens like a lovely girl.
