Jimmy Fallon is slowly but surely finding his identity in late night television, and his dead on impersonations are one of the reasons why. The host recently did a hilarious, creepy, and entertaining cover of “Pants on the Ground,” using the true spirit of Neil Young. And he wasn’t the only one capitalizing on this new internet jam, the song was too good to pass up so we’ve also uncovered the new “Pants on the Ground Remix.”

They say the highest form of flattery is imitation, and that’s happening in spades here. How many different times can one song be done? The possibilities are endless, so we have both Fallon’s version and General Larry Platt’s (who got his 15-minutes of fame on “American Idol“) remix of “Pants on the Ground.” At any point during the remix it felt like Soulja Boy was going to hop on the mic and say “super soak that h**!” But that was just wishful thinking.

First we’ll give you Fallon’s take in this video courtesy of NBC, then we’ll hit you with the club banging version of the remix. Check both of them out here…

Which version of Pants on the Ground do you like best?

That was totally awesome. So happy to see Jimmy Fallon hit it out of the park. Bravo Jimmy…don't let any one tell you you don't belong in Late Night. You really shine a bright light in the middle of the night. Keep up the outstanding job!

General Larry Platt – Pants On The Ground (TFG Remix) is a 62 year old man's creative observation of young brothers style of dress. He wants them to pickup their self esteem and raise up their self pride.

' Pants on the Ground ' by General Larry Platt not only was comically performed but also said something alot of Americans have thought but did not have the courage to express publicly. Congratulations are deserved and I hope given to him for his honesty. It was also the best original 'Idol' audition I can remember in the seven years I have been watching.

i HOPE THAT NO ONE TRIES TO TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS BRILLIANT SONG CREATED BY LARRY PLATT. I HOPE THAT THE BROTHERS AND SISTERS ARE LISTENING, LARRY IS TALKING ABOUT MORE THAN JUST PICKING UP YOUR PANTS. I DO BELIEVE THAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT SELF ESTEEM, SELF WORTH, AND SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND BELONGING.
