Lady Gaga LA 1 18 10 Lady Gaga, Robbie Williams Will Perform at BRITs

Lady Gaga and Robbie Williams will be performing at the 2010 BRIT Awards next month. Ahead of the nominations — to be announced later tonight at London’s O2 Arena — also performing at the BRITs will be indie-rock band Kasabian, Dizzee Rascal and Florence & the Machine.

A couple of winners have already been announced including Williams for Outstanding Contribution to Music, and the hot tipped newcomer Ellie Goulding, who won the Critics’ Choice award. This will mark the 30th year the awards have been celebrated, and are considered the British version of the Grammys that we have here in the States.

The BRITs are one of the biggest nights on the UK calendar, so their lineup has to be hotter than than the last. This won’t be the first time Gaga has performed at the awards show. Last year, the top-selling artist joined the Pet Shop Boys onstage, but this year the BRIT committee has booked her as a solo act. And we’re sure it will be a visual spectacle in typical Gaga fashion.

The BRITs will be broadcast live on ITV1 on February 16th. Do you plan on watching?

What do you think of the lineup so far? Who are you the most excited to see?

Of course not. If they'd nominated Susan Boyle for something, I would. Gaga's a great visual performer, but music awards should be given for audio performance. They snub Susan, I snub them.
