Michael Jackson might finally get justice from beyond the grave according to a report from The Los Angeles Times. As of Wednesday morning the singer’s former physician, Dr. Conrad Murray has stated that he’s prepared to surrender himself to authorities if charges are brought against him regarding Jackson’s death.

The LA prosecutors office has remained quiet on the subject, but law enforcement sources have told The Times it’s possible a decision will come sometime this week. Murray knows how serious the charges against him are and his lawyer has made it clear that his client will follow the orders of the authorities if and when the time comes.

Murray acknowledged administering the anesthetic propofol to Jackson shortly before his death on June 25, 2009, according to police affidavits. An autopsy classified Jackson’s death as a homicide and said the cause was “acute propofol intoxication” in combination with the use of sedatives.

As a medical professional, Murray should have known the risks of administering those drugs simultaneously, and now it’s time to pay the piper. Until the official announcement, we’ll have to wait it out and see if any major developments break later this week from the prosecutions office.

Do you think Dr. Murray will be charged causing Jackson’s death?
