Kanye West Denies Airplane Freak-Out Rumors
By Seraphina L.Kanye West has laid down low for the most part after he embarrassed himself along with Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards last year. Some say he went to India. Some say he even died (obviously, not true). His blog was spared of all the caps he liked to pound out in posts which were infamous for long rants. Some say this unusual silence from the rapper turned auto tune-singer has almost given him redemption, but his ego’s stigma still has an effect on others.
Also, the old and very bold Kanye has come back to the internet since January! First, it was an all caps typed out loud proclamation of how fantastic his new album will be comparing its greatness to Maya Angelou and Nina Simone. Secondly, he fired back at those him to be a part of PETA’s worst dressed celebrities list with statements on how fashion defines his life. Now, he’s back for a third time to defend himself yet again.
The New York Post recently wrote a story on how Kanye West supposedly threw a fit on an airplane for being seated in business class instead of first class. Their source, a “witness” who was on the same flight claims to have seen the entire debacle where Kanye was upset for both himself and his assistant. However, Kanye says the rumors couldn’t be further from the truth in his blog post:
“I feel bad that people believe this kind of stuff or any random rumor that is taken as fact because ‘it’s on the internet.’ This rumor is particularly ironic because I was actually happy with a business class seat and was offered a seat in first class. A friend of mine was sitting in coach so asked if they could bump him up to business instead of putting me in first. There was absolutely no altercation in any way. There’s been many a time where I’ve given someone in coach my business or first class seat in order to sit next to a friend I bumped into. I really could care less about where I sit on the plane. It’s hard to deal with the rumors sometimes. As a good person with a warm heart, it does bother me. I’m not bigger than feeling pain, embarrassment, stress and worry. Have you ever been lied on??? How does it make you feel??? You wanna tell everybody it’s not true right? Thank you to all my fans who still love and support me even though it’s not the trend right now! I’m sleeping in the studio and I won’t let you guys down!”
Surprisingly, we didn’t have re-type this in normal capitalizations or grab an all-caps quote. West also had the decency to write with correct grammar – somewhat. Hopefully, he won’t let us down anymore either.
Is the press just out to get Kanye West or do you think he’s covering an issue up to try and continue to redeem himself?

I think the media needs to stop the racism and let this man live. How come nobody made a big deal about Pink calling Beyonce a b*tch. Or Letterman placing his screw driver all up in his hired help?? HUH?
