Broken Bells To Play Second Los Angeles Date At Troubadour
By Seraphina L.Last Friday duo, Broken Bells, comprised of members James Mercer of The Shins and Danger Mouse, announced that they were playing a show that night over at Bootleg Theatre. If you ask us, that was pretty sneaky of them since the venue in Los Angeles holds a small capacity. Within a half hour of the announcement, the show was sold out. For those lucky enough to attend, they got to see Broken Bell’s debut performance backed by a band with members from Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band and Hella. They even covered Neutral Milk Hotel in their encore.
However, if you did happen to miss it – no worries! The Troubadour has just announced that Broken Bells will playing another Los Angeles show on March 14th, 2010. More info after the jump!
Although not officially announced on their website or MySpace, The Troubadour has announced it via Twitter and on their website. It won’t be a surprise to see the Broken Bells MySpace updated soon after, taking a similar path to last Friday’s show. So far, the only other tour dates they have on the official Broken Bells website include one on March 1st in Paris and one on March 3rd in London.
Tickets for the second Los Angeles date are $24.99 dollars and will go on sale Friday, February 26th at 1:00 pm PST. There is a 2 tickets per person limit again and can only be bought through Troubadour’s new ticketing company, TicketFly. To find more information about the show, you can go to The Troubdour’s official website.
