New Deftones Single Rocket Skates Free Online

American rock band Deftones, led by lead singer Chino Moreno are happy to announce that fans can listen to the first single off their long awaited album Diamond Eyes for free. The single off of their sixth studio release is called “Rocket Skates,” and it’s filled with heavy guitars, courtesy of band member Stephen Carpenter and Moreno’s powerful vocals. The lyrics are dark, as is the mood of the song and as usual the guitar riffs are amazing.

“Rocket Skates” is a powerful combination of muscular impact and expansive and atmospheric clarity. The album is set to be released on May 18th and was produced/mixed by Nick Raskulinecz and recorded and engineered by Paul “Fig” Figueroa.

Starting today, Diamond Eyes is only available online for FREE via www.deftones.com. To accompany the track, a new lyric video will be available and viewable the same day at: youtube.com/deftones.
