Listen: Prince Unveils New Song Cause and Effect

We all know how much Prince loves the Twin Cities. Just take a listen to the fight song he wrote for the Minnesota Vikings before the Super Bowl. Well, he’s still tight with his hometown. So tight enough that a Minneapolis radio station was the first place to debut a new song of his. The track, “Cause and Effect” is a lot to take in under just five minutes.
It’s energetic to say the least where you can hear crowd cheering and Messiah-like claims such as “I am here!” All of this is embedded deep in crazy rockabilly guitar riffs and bass lines making it sound like everything Prince has ever done throughout his discography of 21 albums. Again, all of that in just five minutes! (Give or take a couple of seconds.) Take a listen below and let us know what you think?
