Watch: Thom Yorke Debuts Three New Songs
By Seraphina L.Thom Yorke took the liberty of debuting three new songs while he was playing in Cambridge, England last night. Playing as part of a benefit show for Green Party member, Tony Juniper, the frontman of Radiohead and now new solo band, Atoms For Peace, gave a sneak peek of what may just become recordings later on? (There are rumors of Yorke going into the studio for Atoms For Peace.) These are indeed three new songs since the last time Yorke and his band played the surprise show in Los Angeles a few months ago.
“The Daily Mail” has Yorke on the piano for a heavy ballad “dedicated to the open-minded,” while “Give Up The Ghost” is a mellow and guitar-looped melody, and “Mouse Dog Bird” served as one of the refreshing encore numbers. You can check out the three new songs as well as a the set list for the entire night below!
