The Cast Of Glee To Launch U.S. Tour

Because every generation needs their own version of The Monkeys, the cast of Glee – a troupe of actors playing musicians – have announced a small U.S. tour in May after visiting the White House for Easter. Actors Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Harry Shum, Jr., Dijon Talton, and Jenna Ushkowitz will be hitting the road for a just-over-a-week jaunt from the west coast to the east, bringing with them their small army pop covers as they zoom from a May 18th set in Phoenix to a May 29th gig at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Ticketmaster will be offering up a pre-sale on March 5th, with regular tickets going on sale on March 13th at 10 AM.  Like The Monkeys, the cast of Glee traffics in a winking brand of knowing cheese married to a host of clichés, but hey – if catching a group twenty-somethings covering Journey while pretending to be members of a teenage glee club in high school is your thing, then the last week of May is gonna be heaven for you.
