Aerodrone: BeatCrave Fav

While most everyone is trying their hand at the latest and greatest music trends of the day, only a select few have the ability to  leave a positive lasting impression. Naturally, the hybrid-y dance/electro-rock genre, being no exception the ol’ work-over (and-over-again), is getting extra special treatment from, who else, Los Angeles-based electro-rock group Aerodrone.

Since 2005, the Eugene, Ore., natives have remained consistent in the realm of unmistakable swagger and self-confidence in forms both musical and physical. Their androgynous haircuts, leather jackets, and dark sunglasses make them fashion inspirations; their beats and electric keys, danceable; their quirky/cutesy/edgy lyrics, worthy of a hot pink glitter pen on a white tee. Their music makes us feel like teenagers, sans the time we snuck into our parents’ house through the bathroom window at 4am because we forgot our keys.
