Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss: A Seussical Playlist
By Seraphina L.Dr. Seuss may have gotten popular in the literary world for children, but his genius has gone far beyond the pages of the Sneetches, Loraxes, and Grinches. The king of rhyme has spilled over into the film industry and in all of those animated stories, there have been some pretty memorable songs!
Let’s face it. Christmas just wouldn’t be the same for some of us if we didn’t hear “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” at least one during the holiday season. Also, who can forget the song from the classic book, The Cat in the Hat? Who didn’t learn about society through the eyes of Seuss as we watched The Sneetches? To celebrate his 106th birthday today, we have a Dr. Seuss playlist below for your listening and viewing pleasure! Oh, “Let Us All Sing!”
“You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch”
“Green Eggs and Ham”
“The Cat in the Hat”
“The Sneetches Marshmellow Song”
“The Lorax”
Which Dr. Seuss song is your favorite? Did we miss one? Let us know!

"Are You My Mother?" Best book by far! I can still recite it from memory and I was born in 1966.
