Neko Case and T-Pain Star In Adult Swim Cartoon Together

With our BeatCrave Fav series, we are highlighting new bands that we think will be big someday and let you vote for your favorite in a poll. We suppose Adult Swim (along with their partner, Burger King?) is trying to do the same things for people who create ridiculously outlandish, over the top, inappropriate cartoons that make you feel like you’ve committed a sin after watching. We can’t say much though; everyone has their own thing. In this case, it’s just some appalling stuff paired with humor.
We’ve mentioned both Adult Swim and T-Pain in the same article before, but get this. Now we can pair Neko Case and T-Pain together in a reference to Adult Swim. Yes, we’re talking about the red-headed goddess who also sings in Canadian indie rock band, The New Pornographers. She’s not so much a goddess in this cartoon though.
According to Pitchfork, Neko Case provides the speaking voice for a very ditsy blond with a “robust” front area in a cartoon titled, “Cheyenne Cinnamon and the Fantabulous Unicorn of Sugar Town Candy Fudge.” That is truly the title; you can’t make this stuff up. At least we didn’t. If that isn’t enough for you, T-Pain also appears in the same cartoon as a gingerbread man. Is this blowing your mind or are you wondering if someone has way too much time on their hands?
Well, at least the person who made the cartoon may be getting something for all his or her hard work. If this cartoon gets more votes than the other three it’s up against, you may very well see this cartoon on television soon. We haven’t watched the other cartoons, but do you blame us? Neko Case as a pig-tailed and cocaine snorting bimbo? We are intrigued no matter how filthy and wrong it may be.
