Priding themselves as “Three immigrants and a Virginian” coming together in the massive melting pot of sounds known better as the large NYC music scene, The Vanguard‘s sound stays true to who they are with incredibly addicting guitar riffs, pop melodies, and organic rock. Pulling influences from all their backgrounds, Aaron, David, Luke and Rasko create the feel-good indie rock sounds that is often just reminisced in the sea of electronica which seems to drown NYC at times.

The Vanguard has offered songs such as the psychedelic and pop infused “Rio” on their debut EP, but come April 13th the band will be releasing their latest EP “Playtime” with promising new songs such as the mellow “Slowdown.” So please get to know The Vanguard as we introduce them as part of our BeatCrave Fav series below!
