Wu-Tang Clan Searches For Nine New Generals

Do you think you got Witty Unpredictable Talent And Natural Game? That’s what Wu-Tang Clan is asking people these days and specifically people who are between the ages of 18 and 33 and have mad skills when it comes to spitting rhymes. Have you been a Wu-Tang fan all your life? Do you still think they are the greatest rap collective that ever existed? Now you have your chance of becoming one of the next nine “generals” for Wu-Tang.

According to the competition’s official website, the search for nine new generals will take them to a city near you as they look for talented rappers to join them. Winners of the competition will not only gain the “W,” but they will also receive a major record deal, music video, international exposure through tours… but they deem the acquisition of the “W” as the most important. Naturally.

If you think you’ve got what it takes (or knows someone else who does), you can register online here. The early registration ends on March 31st and there is a fee of $23.50 for registering during this time. Also, you must be a U.S. citizen but you don’t have to have a demo ready. The auditions will officially begin in the summer of 2010.
