SXSW Music 2010 Sneak Peek!

SXSW doesn’t officially start until Wednesday, March 17 but we here at BeatCrave just wanted to give you a heads up on what’s coming your way! As one of the biggest music festivals for industry folk and bands getting their sounds, images and brands out there, SXSW is a massive conglomeration of ear candy for everyone who attends. If you’re feeling a bit down because you can’t make this year’s festivities – No worries! BeatCrave will be there covering the event for you with photos, reviews, and interviews!
Not only can you keep on coming back for updates for exclusive photos and in-depth recaps of every event we can get into during our time there but we’re doing something a bit special for SXSW this year. For 2010′s SXSW music festival, we’ll be giving you an inside look on what it’s like for a band going to SXSW for the first time. (It can also be viewed as what it looks like when a music writer tags along with one of their most recent favorite bands).
This year, we’re traveling down to Austin, Texas with local Los Angeles band Vanaprasta. Does the name sound familiar? Of course, it does. Vanaprasta was not only one of our BeatCrave Favs, but they were in the running for our February’s BeatCrave Fav of the Month! We’ll be taking a ride with the band in their 15-passenger van complete with all 5 members and two of their close friends. Whatever happens on the road and what we think of as worthy of sharing with the world will all be seen here on BeatCrave with a video log (or vlog).
So make sure you get all your SXSW updates through our ride down with Vanaprasta as well as exclusive photos, interviews and reviews. We do this because we are passionate about music but also because we know you all are, too.
