Phish Make Plans For Summer Tour

Phish, fresh off their gig inducting Genesis into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Monday, have announced a whole of bunch of gigs: a 29-date, 18-city summer tour that begins in Chicago on June 11 and travels all across the U.S. before wrapping it up on Aug. 18 at New York’s Jones Beach Theatre.

Phish are also  releasing a 3-D version of their Halloween festival in April; Phish 3D is a feature-length theatrical concert film using footage from the band’s three-day outdoor Festival 8 show, which took place Oct. 30-31 and Nov. 1 last year in Indio, CA.

The online request period for tickets is open now through March 16 via the band’s website. The general public sale begins April 2.

Phish honored Genesis – old school Genesis and Genesis 2.0 – Monday night by performing “Watcher of the Skies” and “No Reply At All.”
