Oh No Oh My came to me on a mixtape (Songs for Sunny Days) that I downloaded from Hipster Collective late last year. The song, “Walk In The Park,” could not be more appropriate for the title. This quartet from Austin, Texas reminds me of my 21-year-old friend who carries a lunchbox around in college – Oh No Oh My are irresistibly cute, but also incredibly smart. Don’t let their happy, pop-ish beats fool you, their lyrics are deep and poetic.

These boys are all multi-instrumentalists and have traveled around with some of today’s better indie bands such as The Deadly Syndrome and Au Revoir Simone, as well as the top guns like The Flaming Lips. They are currently working on their second album, and were just at SXSW. Check out Oh No Oh My in our BeatCrave Fav series below!
