Red Arrow Messenger‘s forte is a fun alt-rock sound influenced heavily by blues. We feel this about many Favs, but after multiple listens we’ve come to the conclusion that they’re also after our hearts. When not moving to a rhythmic pulse supported by prevalent calm and cool, we found ourselves caught pleasantly off-guard with such lyrics as “In the basement blue of the night your eyes shine like the mouth of a gun”.

Information per the Los Angeles-based band’s Myspace states that they are currently in the studio; “EP out soon!”. We can’t help but ask a question along the lyrical lines of just as ambiguously an emotive song… “how soon is now?” Sorry, but it begged to be asked.
